Mary Lou French memorial scholarship applications sought

Mary Lou French was a woman with a vibrant spirit and a compassionate soul. She spent her time, energy and resources promoting social issues for the advancement of women and children. Following her death from cancer in January 1995, a Memorial Fund was established in her name to continue her work and ministry.

The Memorial Gifts Committee of First Congregational Church invites applications for The Mary Lou French Memorial Scholarship (grants ranging from $500 – $2,000) to further one’s education. The grants will be given to non-traditional students (age 25 or over) who plan to enter a field of study that serves women and children and demonstrates financial need, reside in Sheboygan County or attend an educational institution in Sheboygan County. Download the Mary Lou French Scholarship Application rev 2017_01 and return it to the church by the scholarship deadline of March 15th. This scholarship is awarded once a year. Recipients and applicants may reapply each year.
