Church School Programs

Nursery Care for infants and 1-yr-olds is offered during worship in the infant and toddler nurseries (Room 7). Nursery Workers: Jordan Champeau, Brianna Skufca, Brianna Wagner and Ray Venn, with assistance from parents.
Church School: Runs through May 20, 2012 followed by a summer kid’s program. During the school years, children typically attend the 10 a.m. worship with families, and then leave for class following “Time with Children.” Church school classes are held from 10:15-11:15 a.m. High school youth are encouraged to serve as assistant teachers.
A weekly offering is collected during church school classes. Offering envelopes are available for each child. This year’s offering will benefit the Hygeine Kits program of Church World Service. The children will be purchasing washcloths, toothbrushes, combs, and towels to be sent to people in need due to poverty or disaster.
Curriculum: We are glad to be using the “Seasons of the Spirit” curriculum in our church school program. It explores the meaning and mystery of the Bible; nurtures the imaginative spirit; offers resources for all ages; and integrates the worship, learning, and serving ministries of the church.
