MARY LOU FRENCH SCHOLARSHIP  –  The Memorial Gifts Committee of First Congregational Church invites you to apply for The Mary Lou French Memorial Scholarship (grants ranging from $500 – $2,000) to further your education.  The grants, offered once a year, will be given to non-traditional students (age 25 or over) who plan to enter a field of study that serves women and children, demonstrate financial need, and reside in Sheboygan County or attend an educational institution in Sheboygan County. Mary Lou French Scholarship Application rev 2017_01 to the church by the scholarship deadline (March 15th).  Recipients and applicants may reapply each year.

Mary Lou French was a woman with a vibrant spirit and a compassionate soul. She spent her time, energy and resources promoting social issues for the advancement of women and children. Following her death from cancer in January 1995, a Memorial Fund was established in her name to continue her work and ministry.
