Planned Giving & Legacy Funds

  SO WHAT IS PLANNED GIVING?  

Planned Gifts allow your values to continue beyond your lifetime. These gifts are typically made through your will or estate plan and allow you to designate a specific dollar amount or percentage of your estate to FCC. Gifts such as these showcase your values to your heirs and may reduce the amount of your taxable estate. Often people feel that estate planning is only for the wealthy, or they feel that giving money to the church is a long and complex procedure. We offer this brochure to help you consider ways that you can support the church's ministry for generations to come!

We at FCC gather with joy to be a welcoming community of God’s love for all people to connect with one another to nurture and grow in Christian faith to reach out to the world to be the Good News of God’s mercy, justice and peace.

We worship God as one community in Christ and seek the leading of the Holy Spirit to enliven and empower us for ministries that will make a difference in the lives of our neighbors – in Sheboygan and throughout the world.

For our members and friends, generosity is a daily practice of serving others and sharing their time and talents with the church and the wider community.

In addition, many wish to share their treasure to ensure that the mission and ministries of FCC Sheboygan can be perpetuated. The FCC Legacy Funds seek to meet that need.

FCC Legacy Funds are about more than holding onto money. They are about holding onto a mission. The FCC Legacy Funds will reach beyond our own lifetimes to support our congregation as a local church with a global mission.

Church & Ministry Fund

provides ongoing support for the ministry of FCC Sheboygan. Funds will be disbursed through a vote of the Church Council.

Mission & Outreach Fund

provides support for the purpose of outreach in the Sheboygan community and the wider United Church of Christ. Funds will be disbursed through a vote of both the Church Council and FCC Christian Service Board.
