Mary lou french scholarship

Mary Lou French was a woman with a vibrant spirit and a compassionate soul. She spent her time, energy, and resources promoting social issues for the advancement of women and children. Following her death in January 1995, a Memorial Fund was established in her name to continue her work and ministry.

The Memorial Gifts Committee of First Congregational Church oversees the Mary Lou French Memorial Scholarship. Grants range from $500 – $2,000.  The grants, offered once a year, are given to non-traditional students (age 25+) who plan to enter a field of study that serves women and children and who demonstrate financial need, reside in Sheboygan County, or attend an educational institution in Sheboygan County. Scholarship deadline is March 15th.
