Holy Week
PALM SUNDAY
Sunday, March 29th
At the 10 am service, Pastor Dave will preach. FCC Choir and Sunday school youth participate in a palm processional. Youth should assemble at 9:50 am in the Sunday School classrooms. The FCC choir will sing “A Hosanna for Our Time,” joined by Shoua Xiong, violin.
MAUNDY THURSDAY
Thursday, April 2nd
At the 7 pm service, the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be by intinction. Pastor Dave will provide a reflection on community, belonging, and radical acceptance. FCC Choir will sing “We Remember.”
Good Friday
Friday, April 3rd
At the 6 pm service, worship in the sanctuary will be part of a service that recounts Jesus’s final hours by way of John’s gospel account of these events. Pastor Dave will give a brief reflection. Special music.
Easter Sunday
Sunday, April 5th
We will gather for one service at 10 am in the sanctuary, to include the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Pastor Dave will share a reflection on rebirth and eternal life. FCC Choir will sing “To the Lamb on the Throne.” FCC Brass also will be performing. Children (age 3 thru 3rd grade) will enjoy Sunday School class and an Easter Egg Hunt. Children in 4th grade and above are encouraged to remain in worship. Nursery care is also provided. Join us after worship for coffee hour!
