Laundry Love Support is Needed

Laundry Love is a program created to provide those that are unemployed or struggling with the opportunity to have freshly laundered clothes each month. Laundry Love churches contribute the soap, money and volunteers for a specific date. FCC has offered these services on the fourth Wednesday evening of every month for about 10 years! Through the generous support of the Christian Service Board grants and member donations, Laundry Love has managed this project without requesting additional funds since 2020, but funds are now running low. People are feeling greater financial pressure, and the Laundry Love dates have become much busier. Please consider this important mission with financial support through contributions by cash, check, or donating online here. Contact John or Patty Aker, 920-693-2005, for more information or join them at Midway Laundromat on Wednesday, July 29th, at 6 pm.

Bake Sale Success!

Thanks to ALL who contributed to the Graduation Day Bake Sale and who helped out last Sunday during the Graduation fundraising activities! We raised $3,100 through selling parking spaces and offering bake sale items, snacks and beverages. It was a whole church effort in support of our Youth Mission Trip to Memphis, TN (June 21-27). Come to worship on Sunday, June 28th, to hear stories and see photos of their mission adventures.

Wednesday Morning Study Group has begun a New Book

Living in Balance by Dr. Joel and Michelle Levey is a powerful, inspiring, and practical guide for everyone seeking to realize greater wisdom, compassion, resilience, creativity, well-being, and health in their lives. It points toward mindfulness, personal mastery, and resilience as being the keys to thriving and living in balance. The group meets each Wednesday at 6:45 am in the church Lounge and on Zoom (The link can be found on the website calendar). All are welcome.

Handmade cotton dish cloths will be attached to the soap before delivery. Feel free to take one of the shawls in the rack and pass it along to someone who is in need of comfort. Small prayer-squares are also available.  Mary Klein, leader.

Creation Care Bird Walk with Pastor Dave

Saturdays, June 13th & 20th, 9 am
Meet in the parking lot of the Black River Trails (off of S. 12th St) Meet for a morning bird walk with Pastor Dave, who says, "This is not exercise, but a slow walk to listen and watch for birds. Birds are their own beings, so I can make few guarantees, although you could very well see one or more species new to you."

Movie & Potluck Dinner Inspired by Creation Care

Saturday, June 13th, 5:30pm
Join us in Lucas Hall to view “Behold the Earth,” a one hour documentary that takes a gentler look at our changing earth and climate through personal exploration and storytelling and is an invitation to remember the joy in connecting to the outdoors. It features Dr. Cal DeWitt (retired emeritus professor from UW Madison) and also famous scientists like Dr. E.O. Wilson (biologist and entomologist, deceased) and Dr. Katherine Hayhoe (climate scientist). This film might be most enjoyed by teens and up as there is some brief footage of climate damage.

Bring a dish to pass for a potluck dinner and discussion about local opportunities and ways each of us can do more beholding and giving reverence to the world all around us. Hannah Harder and Pastor Dave, leaders. Sign up here.
